About Me

Dr. Thea Rothmann

(She/Her)

My practice is founded in a belief in abundance and belonging.

My Background. I am a doctoral level psychologist trained in assessment and therapy. I completed my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and became licensed in Minnesota in 2007 (LP#4848). I earned my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Spanish at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.

My Experience. I've worked for 15 years in community mental health giving me a breadth of experience with presenting issues including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, other health issues, and more.

My Passion. One of the great joys of my work is undoing shame -those moments in therapy when I can see someone let go of a self-judgment or self-blame that they have carried for too long .

In therapy, I work with older adolescents and adults across the lifespan in individual, couple's and group therapy. I aim to provide inclusive services so you are welcome here.
